Inbox vs Social Feed

In previous versions of the game, I feel like I received a lot more information in my inbox screen. Now, for example, in order to see that a player I've shortlisted has been released from his current club, I have to check the "social feed". This is pretty inconvenient because the social feed is filled with more irrelevant things and it's easy to miss something that's actually important.

Is there any way to change it to how it used to be or any way that I can customize what I receive on my inbox screen vs what is shown on the social feed?
