    Have seen this a lot - seems to manifest in two ways - 1st goal of the season then a second goal that is also displayed as 1st goal of the season and, as you had, displays the the number of goals - 1 on a first goal of the game and then corrects for a second goal scored by the same player e.g in my last game scored 11th goal of season, but displayed as 10th and then scored 12th, displayed correctly. 

    Have seen it appear in Youtube videos as well.
